Prices are in GBP and exclude VAT. Annual billing is two months free — £90, £290 and £990 a year respectively.
Prepaid request packs
If you have a busy month, buy requests up front instead of moving up a plan. Credits never expire, they stack, and they are only drawn down once your monthly allowance is gone. Packs are available on every tier, including free.

What counts as a request
Every API call made with an API token counts as one request against your monthly allowance. Requests made by the jsonpad dashboard while you are signed in do not — browsing your own data is free.
Requests that fail because of an error on our side are refunded automatically, so an outage here never costs you allowance.
What happens when you run out
We email you once, at 80% of your allowance. There is no second email at 90%.
On a paid plan, you then get a 10% overdraft. Once that is gone — or immediately, on the free plan — any prepaid credits you hold are used. After that, GET requests keep working at the free tier's rate limit and writes return 429 with the error code QUOTA_EXCEEDED. Your app degrades to read-only rather than going dark.
Allowances reset at 00:00 UTC on the first of each calendar month. Prepaid credits carry over.
Every response carries x-quota-total, x-quota-remaining, x-quota-credits and x-quota-reset so your code can pace itself. See the limits and quotas documentation for the details.
Questions
Can I change plan later?
Yes, at any time. Switching plans is handled by Stripe, which prorates what you have already paid. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the billing period you have paid for, not immediately.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Nothing is deleted. If you are over the storage allowance of your new plan, reads keep working and writes are refused until you are back under it.
Do you limit how many lists or items I can create?
No. Lists, items per list and indexes per list are uncapped on every plan, including free. In practice you are bounded by the storage allowance.
